The IIPT is the leading health care teaching facility in Ireland since 1994.
The IIPT run the only externally internationally recognised courses in Ireland.
The IIPT have had students who studied at other institutes in Ireland. Why not hear what they have to say before
you decide what course is best suited to your needs.
"My name is Janette Towey, Physical Therapist, Cranial Therapist, and beginning the Manipulative Course Autumn 2009, all carried out at the
IIPT. in Cork.
I would fully recommend the Physical Therapy Course at the IIPT. With my previous qualification obtained from other physical
therapy schools here in Ireland, I lacked some fundamental elements/skills that I needed to become a good and safe therapist when
treating people with health issues. Through the Physical Therapy course at the IIPT in Cork i have equipped myself with diagnostic tools,
knowing how best and when to treat patients and knowing when to refer patients on to more specialist professionals.
I have also gained great
hands on experience working in a clinical setting while attending the course. Some of the topics the course covers such as Orthopaedic tests,
joint assessment, joint mobilisation and manipulation and various conditions that present in a clinical situation.
The Cork course was
very informative and is a must for anybody wishing to work in the field of Physical Therapy."

"My name is Anthony Phelan, prior to attending the IIPT I had undertaken a number of physical therapy courses in Ireland and the UK.
It is clear that there is strong emphasis at the IIPT on developing practitioners with very competent hands-on skills. The physical therapy
course content contained a comprehensive set of assessment protocols and treatment techniques that equips any aspiring practitioner with the
tools needed to work confidently in a clinical setting. The physical therapy course manual was very professionally put together. There are
photographs and step by step instructions for each technique.
This is an invaluable resource. The teaching standards were also high. Each
tutor already worked full time in the field and could draw on their own clinical experiences to give the class a better learning experience.
For anyone wishing to pursue a career in physical medicine, I would highly recommend the IIPT. On completion of the course you will have
developed the set of skills required to successfully embark on a successful career."
