Cranial Manipulation is one of the fastest growing treatments of complimentary medicine over the past 20 years.
This Diploma Course will introduce the therapist to this fascinating subject and will look at aspects of treatment such as cranial structures and their mobility, the reciprocal tension membranes and cranial rhythm impulses (C.R.I.) We will also look at what drives the Cranial Rhythm and what are the clinical implications of Cranial Dysfunction. The therapist will learn how to palpate theses rhythms and how to apply safe and potent techniques that can be used safely on patients.
This Cranial course is the first of its kind in Ireland and it includes clinical hours with some of Ireland’s most experienced Cranial Osteopaths. This course is designed so that these clinical hours are completed outside of college attendance and students can gain full benefit from this before returning to class for practical tuition. All tutors are registered G.Os.C Osteopaths. Mr. Kieran Corcoran D.O. is the principal of the IIPT and a Registered Osteopath holding a degree in Osteopathic medicine since 1994. He has over 13 years clinical experience in Cranial and Myofascial techniques and has taught internationally in countries such as England, France and Canada. His Cork clinics are the busiest in Munster, seeing an average of 200 patients each week. These clinics have a substantial paediatric clinic, where he treats babies for a range of ailments from colic to ADH.

The fee for the Cranial Therapy Course is €1,900.
There is no hidden or extra cost. The fee covers all of the above.
Finally a course that offers everything a therapist needs to know to be able to properly assess and treat patients. I’ve been doing courses in Physical Therapy and related subjects for over 10 years in various colleges in Ireland and none compare to the Irish Institute of Physical Therapy. The tutors are to be commended for their work and motivation. In my opinion if your serious about helping patients you need to train at the I.I.P.T.
